Cooking feeds your body, mind, and soul. It allows you to control the food you put into your body, connect with your family and friends over a home cooked meal, and save the money you might otherwise spend in restaurants or on processed, prepackaged foods. Believe it or not, making simple and satisfying meals from scratch doesn’t have to be hard. Here are some of my favorite easy, healthy recipes. You’ll find that eating well can also be delicious!
All recipes are wholefood plant-based and gluten free and if you had of told me 5 years ago I would be eating this way, I would have laughed at you, but once I was educated on the importance and benefits of a plant-based and gluten free lifestyle (not to mention how great it makes me feel), how could I say no!?
I do encourage you to try the recipes as they are, however, if you do choose to eat meat, eggs and dairy, feel free to substitute/add. You will also see that most frying is done in a non-stick pan with water in place of oil, however, if you choose to use oil, use extra virgin olive oil sparingly.
