My top priority or goal for starting the program was to lose weight and start living a healthier life. These goals changed though as I started working with Tara as I realized that it was my negative self-talk that really needed a shakeup.

Tara was able to help me work toward these goals by helping me to realise the importance of being kind to myself and really looking after myself. I always thought ‘looking after myself’ meant eating nothing but salad, training so hard that I would be sore every day and working ridiculously long hours to achieve my goals. Tara made me realise that we need to be kind to ourselves and listen to our bodies in order to be able to function effectively and then ultimately achieve one’s goals.

The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been getting in control of my ‘mean girl’, by acknowledging my fears and worries and changing my self-talk. The most powerful tool that I have learnt from Tara was adopting a ‘Miracle Morning’. Every morning before my walk I write down 3 things I’m grateful for, an affirmation, 3 intentions for the day and then I reflect on 3 blessings I have in my life.

The most significant overall change I have noticed has been the shift in my thinking from my glass being half empty to half full.

I would describe Tara as kind, compassionate, understanding, a good listener, motivating and extremely resourceful!!

I would recommend Tara to anyone. Tara is well worth the investment in yourself.
