A little re-introduction

Hello strangers!
It's been a while...
Like, a while!
The last time I wrote on here, I was talking about our home birth.!That was almost two years ago.
Since then I've had exactly zero blog posts and approximately one million good excuses :P
So. Quick recap of what's happened in the gap:
I finished my naturopathy degree. Five years, all up, while running a business and growing a tiny human. I am now, officially, a fully qualified naturopath. There were assignments written at 11pm with a baby on my chest. There were moments I questioned if I'd ever finish... But I made it, and I'm genuinely proud of it.
Oh... And I had a baby. You may have noticed I mentioned that already. It's been the kind of stretch where some weeks I couldn't tell you what day it was, but I could absolutely tell you how many hours since the last feed.
So what's actually different now?
Before, I came to you as a health coach...Helping with mindset, habits, the stuff that makes change actually stick.
That's not going anywhere!
But now I've got the clinical training to back it up properly:
herbal medicine
nutritional science
functional testing
the whole naturopathic toolkit.
So instead of just helping you build better habits, I can also help you understand what's actually going on in your body that's making change feel so hard in the first place.
Health coach plus naturopath plus NLP practitioner. It's a fairly specific combination, and it's exactly the one I always wanted.
Why I work the way I do
Here's the thing I believe more now than I did two years ago: most lasting change isn't a supplement problem. It's a mindset problem with a biochemical postcode!
You can hand someone the perfect protocol and watch it fall apart in week two... Not because the protocol was wrong, but because nobody addressed why their body and brain have been running this pattern for years.
That's the gap I sit in. Naturopathic medicine for the body. NLP and coaching for the mind. Both, because one without the other tends to be a short-term fix.
Who I work with
Women navigating hormones, thyroid, fertility, preconception, stress and perimenopause... Basically the seasons of life nobody warned us would be this loud. If that's you, I'd love to help.
Ways to work with me
Consults are available in person if you're around Lake Macquarie or Newcastle, and via telehealth if you're anywhere else in Australia. Head to bookings to see what fits.
What's next
More of this, for one thing! I've missed writing here, and I've got a lot to say now that I've actually got 5 more years of experience and study under my belt. So, watch this space (roughly every month you'll hear from me).
Glad to be back x
